Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW) reported Q4 EPS of $2.21, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $2.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.05 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.98 billion.
- Total Revenues increased 8% for the quarter and 4% for the year
- Adjusted Organic Total Revenues increased 6% for the quarter and 4% for the year
- U.S. GAAP Tax Rate negative 221% for the quarter: One-time tax benefit of $204 million
- Adjusted Tax Rate 21% for the quarter
- U.S. GAAP Diluted Earnings per Share were $1.84 for the quarter and $4.18 for the year
- Adjusted Diluted Earnings per Share were $2.21 for the quarter and $8.51 for the year
Outlook for 2018
For 2018, the Company expects constant currency revenue growth of around 3%, and 4% on an organic basis; and Adjusted Diluted Earnings per Share in the range of $9.88 to $10.12.
