Shares of Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: NBIX) 27% LOWER; the company now said the NDA for indiplon capsules is targeted to be resubmitted to the FDA during summer 2008. The company will conduct an additional 3-month safety and efficacy study for sleep onset to ensure the highest probability for the success of the resubmission.

Stellent, Inc. (Nasdaq: STEL) 24% HIGHER; announced a definitive agreement for Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) to acquire Stellent through a cash tender offer for $13.50 per share, or approximately $440 million.

Red Robin Gourmet (Nasdaq: RRGB) 23% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.47 (ex-items), 4 cents better than estimates.(0.43) Revenues were $148.6 million vs. $148.39 million consensus. Sees Q4 revenues between $156 million and $158 million and net income of $0.33 to $0.38 per diluted share. Current Q4 revenue consensus is $163.59 million and EPS consensus is $0.49. Sees FY06 revenues between $611 million and $613 million, and net income of between $1.62 and $1.67 per diluted share down from the previous revenue guidance of $615 million to $618 million, and net income of between $1.74 and $1.83. Current FY revenue consensus is $618.37 million and EPS consensus is $1.78.

Syntax-Brillian Corporation (Nasdaq: BRLC) 18% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.07, 6 cents better than estimates.(0.01) Revenues were $87 million vs. $75.30 million consensus. Sees Q2 revenues between (ex-Vivitar) $160-170 million vs. $150 milllion consensus. Sees FY07 revenues (ex-Vivitar) between $490-520 million vs. $428 million consensus.

Perini (NYSE: PCR) 14% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.36, 6 cents better than estimates.(0.30) Revenues were $777.3 million vs. $709.58 million consensus. Sees FY07 EPS between $2.00-2.20 vs. $1.66 consensus.

Whole Foods Market (Nasdaq: WFMI) 14% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.29, in-line with estimates.(0.29) Revenues were $1.29 billion vs. $1.32 billion consensus. For fiscal year 2007, on a 52-week to 52-week basis, the Company now expects total sales growth of 13% to 17%. Based on recent results, current sales trends and the continuing difficult comparisons, particularly in the first half of the year, the Company expects comparable store sales growth of 6% to 8% for fiscal year 2007.

LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: LF) 12% LOWER; reported a Q3 net loss of $49.7 million, or ($0.79) per share, versus the consensus of a $0.34 profit. Net sales came in at $184.7 million versus the conensus of $218.3 million. The company is expecting a net loss per share of approximately $2.00 per share for 2006. The consensus is a $0.42 loss.

Scientific Games Corp (Nasdaq: SGMS) 10% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.12 (non-GAAP was $0.24) vs. consensus of $0.26. Revenues were $217 million vs. $243.65 million consensus.

Encysive Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ENCY) 7% LOWER; submitted a complete response to the July 24, 2006 approvable letter for its New Drug Application for Thelin 100 mg tablets, a potential new oral treatment for pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) 7% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.07 ($0.21 ex-items) vs. consensus of $0.02. Revenues were $784 million vs. $672.53 million consensus. Sees Q3 EPS between $0.50-0.60 vs. consensus of $0.59. Sees Q3 revenues between $1.2-1.3 billion vs. $1.2 billion. Sees FY revenues between $2.95-3.125 billion vs. $2.94 billion consensus. Sees FY EPS between $0.55-0.70 vs. consensus of $0.56.

CA (NYSE: CA) 7% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.25, 5 cents better than estimates.(0.20) Revenues were $996 million vs. $969.41 million consensus. CA updated its outlook for the fiscal year 2007 and expects to meet or exceed revenue guidance of $3.9 billion and its original guidance for non-GAAP operating earnings per share of $0.83. Current FY07 revenue consensus is $3.91 billion and EPS consensus is $0.85.

McDermott Int'l (NYSE: MDR) 6.6% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.89, 30 cents better than estimates.(0.59) Revenues were $1.12 billion vs. $975.3 million consensus.

Powerwave (Nasdaq: PWAV) 6% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.07 per share, ex-items, 4 cents worse than estimates. Revenues came in at $145.8 million versus the consensus of $155.9 million.

Emmis Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: EMMS) 6% HIGHER; announced that its Board of Directors has declared a special cash dividend of $4 per share payable pro rata to all holders of the Company's common stock, with a record date of Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006 and a payment date of Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006.

JDS Uniphase (Nasdaq: JDSUD) 5% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.03, 2 cents better than estimates.(0.01) Revenues were $318.1 million vs. $321.59 million consensus. For the second quarter of fiscal 2007, ending December 31, 2006, the Company expects net revenue of $332 to $352 million. Current consensus is $342 milllion.

Intevac Inc. (NASDAQ: IVAC) 4% HIGHER; will replace Wolverine Tube Inc. (NYSE: WLV) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Monday, November 6.

SINA Corp (Nasdaq: SINA) 3.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.25 (ex-items), 7 cent better than estimates.(0.18) Revenues were $56.1 million vs. $52.79 million consensus. Sees Q4 revenues between $53-56 million vs. $52.5 million consensus.

Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (NYSE: FIS) 2.5% HIGHER; S&P 500 constituent Louisiana-Pacific Corp. (NYSE: LPX) will replace Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (NYSE: FIS) in the S&P MidCap 400, Fidelity National Information Services Inc. will replace Louisiana-Pacific Corp. in the S&P 500.

Nuveen Investments Inc. (NYSE: JNC) 2.3% HIGHER; will replace Fidelity National Financial Inc. (NYSE: FNF) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Thursday, November 9.

Crocs (Nasdaq: CROX) INDICATED HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.53, 12 cents better than estimates.(0.41) Revenues were $111 million vs. $92.19 million consensus. Sees FY EPS between $1.50-1.53 vs. consensus of $1.26. Sees FY revenues between $334-337 million vs. $301.8 million consensus.
