ANSYS (ANSS) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c; Guides Q3, FY16

ANSYS (NASDAQ: ANSS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.93, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $246.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $244.84 million.

GUIDANCE:

ANSYS sees Q3 2016 EPS of $0.90-$0.94, versus the consensus of $0.91. ANSYS sees Q3 2016 revenue of $244-253 million, versus the consensus of $252.5 million.

ANSYS sees FY2016 EPS of $3.57-$3.67, versus the consensus of $3.56. ANSYS sees FY2016 revenue of $990-1010 million, versus the consensus of $998.0 million.
