General Dynamics (GD) Tops Q2 EPS by 13c; Raises Outlook

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) reported Q2 EPS of $2.44, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $2.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.66 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.87 billion.

"General Dynamics delivered unprecedented operating performance this quarter," said Phebe N. Novakovic, chairman and chief executive officer of General Dynamics. "We are executing on our programs and focused on operations, leading to strong earnings and record-setting operating margin."

GUIDANCE:

General Dynamics sees FY2016 EPS of $9.20-$9.70, versus the consensus of $9.52.
