Sonoco (SON) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c; Boosts FY16 EPS Outlook

Sonoco (NYSE: SON) reported Q2 EPS of $0.73, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.68. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.21 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.26 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Sonoco sees Q3 2016 EPS of $0.65-$0.70, versus the consensus of $0.77.

Sonoco sees FY2016 EPS of $2.68-$2.74, versus prior guidance of $2.64-$2.74 and the consensus of $2.71.
