Ultimate Software Group (ULTI) Tops Q1 EPS by 7c, Offers Q2 & FY Guidance

Ultimate Software Group (NASDAQ: ULTI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.73, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.66. Revenue for the quarter came in at $187 million versus the consensus estimate of $180.11 million.

GUIDANCE:

Ultimate Software Group sees Q2 2016 revenue of $187 million, versus the consensus of $184.58 million.

For the year 2016:

• Recurring revenues to increase by approximately 26% over 2015,
• Total revenues to increase by approximately 26% over 2015, and
• Operating margin, on a non-GAAP basis (discussed below), of approximately 21%.
