Discover Financial Services (DFS) Declares $0.28 Quarterly Dividend; 2.1% Yield

Discover Financial Services (NYSE: DFS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.28 per share, or $1.12 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on May 19, 2016, to stockholders of record on May 5, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of May 3, 2016.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.1 percent.

The Board of Directors of Discover Financial Services also declared a quarterly cash dividend on its Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series B, in the amount of $16.25 per share. The dividend equals $0.40625 per depositary share, each representing 1/40th interest in a share of the Series B Preferred Stock. The dividend will be payable on May 31, 2016, to the holders of record at the close of business on May 13, 2016.
