National Fuel Gas (NFG) Declares $0.395 Quarterly Dividend; Says Stockholder Proposal Not Approval at Annual Meeting

National Fuel Gas (NYSE: NFG) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.395 per share, or $1.58 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on April 15, 2016, to stockholders of record on March 31, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of March 29, 2016.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3.2 percent.

At the Annual Meeting of Stockholders, held, the Company announced preliminary results of the shareholder vote on four management proposals and one stockholder proposal. All of the management proposals were approved, including: the election of David C. Carroll, Joseph N. Jaggers, and David F. Smith as directors for terms to expire in 2019 and Craig G. Matthews as director for a term to expire in 2018, advisory approval of named executive officer compensation, amendment and reapproval of the 2009 Non-Employee Director Equity Compensation Plan, and ratification of the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm. The stockholder proposal was not approved.

The Company has approximately 84.8 million shares of common stock outstanding. It has no preferred stock outstanding.
