Chubb Corp. (CB) Declares $0.67 Annual Dividend; Proposed Hike

Chubb Corp. (NYSE: CB) declared an annual dividend of $0.67 per share, or $0.67 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on April 21, 2016, to stockholders of record on March 31, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of March 29, 2016.

The annual yield on the dividend is 0.5 percent.

The Board of Directors of Chubb also announced that it will recommend to shareholders at the company's 2016 Annual General Meeting an increase in its quarterly dividend for the twenty-third consecutive year. The proposal calls for a $2.76 annual per share dividend, payable in four installments of $0.69 per share per quarter, compared to the current quarterly dividend amount of $0.67 per share.
