Sonic Corp (SONC) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c

Sonic Corp (NASDAQ: SONC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.24, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $145.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $144.28 million.

For the first fiscal quarter ended November 30, 2015, system same-store sales increased 5.3%, which was comprised of a 5.4% same-store sales increase at franchise drive-ins and an increase of 4.4% at company drive-ins.

Guidance:

Sees 2% to 4% same-store sales growth for the system for FY16.
