Ametek (AME) Reports In-Line Q2 EPS, Offers Q3 & FY Guidance

Ametek (NYSE: AME) reported Q2 EPS of $0.64, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.64. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.01 billion.

Ametek sees Q3 2015 EPS of $0.64-$0.65, versus the consensus of $0.65. Third quarter 2015 sales are expected to be approximately flat compared to last year's third quarter.

Ametek sees FY2015 EPS of $2.58-$2.63, versus the consensus of $2.60. 2015 sales to be up low single digits with organic sales roughly flat versus 2014.
