3M Co. (MMM) Tops Q2 EPS by 2c; Trims FY15 EPS Midpoint Outlook

3M Co. (NYSE: MMM) reported Q2 EPS of $2.02, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $2.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.83 billion.

3M Co. sees FY2015 EPS of $7.80-$8.00, versus prior guidance of $7.80-$8.10 and the consensus of $7.90.

3M continues to expect that foreign currency translation will reduce 2015 sales by 6 to 7 percent. The company also anticipates that full-year free cash flow conversion will be in the range of 90 to 100 percent.
