First Solar (FSLR) Posts Wider than Expected Q1 Loss; Issues Strong Q2 EPS Outlook

First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.62), $0.33 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.29). Revenue for the quarter came in at $469.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $599.47 million.

First Solar sees Q2 2015 EPS of $0.45 - $0.55, versus the consensus of $0.40. First Solar sees Q2 2015 revenue of $750-850 million, versus the consensus of $779.7 million.
