Simmons First National (SFNC) Misses Q4 EPS by 1c

Simmons First National (NASDAQ: SFNC) reported Q4 EPS of $0.64, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.65.

Core earnings exclude $1.2 million in net after-tax earnings. Adjusted for the non-core items, net income was $12.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2014, an increase of $8.9 million, or 234%, compared to the same quarter last year.
