Alaska Air Group (ALK) Tops Q4 EPS by 6c; Raises Dividend 60%

Alaska Air Group (NYSE: ALK) reported Q4 EPS of $0.94, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.31 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.3 billion.

"Record earnings and the number one airline ranking in The Wall Street Journal for the second year in a row are proof that our 13,000 employees continue to do a great job serving our customers and running a reliable operation," said CEO Brad Tilden. "The substantial increase in the dividend underscores our commitment to shareholders and our confidence in the future."

The company also declared a $0.20 per share dividend, up 60% from the prior quarter. The dividend will be paid on March 10, to shareholders of record as of February 24, 2015.
