Sl Green Realty Corp. (SLG) Raises Quarterly Dividend 20% to $0.60; 2.1% Yield

Sl Green Realty Corp. (NYSE: SLG) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share, or $2.4 annualized. This is a 20% increase from the prior dividend of $0.50.

The dividend will be payable on January 15, 2015, to stockholders of record on January 2, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of December 30, 2014.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.1 percent.

Andrew Mathias, SL Green’s President, said, “The momentum of our platform continues to benefit from a strong leasing market, operating results in our core and redevelopment portfolios and our debt and preferred equity program. We believe our platform is the best positioned in New York City to generate profits during this part of the real estate growth cycle.”

Mr. Mathias continued, “We are pleased to share our growing returns with our investors in the form of an increased current distribution, while at the same time retaining cash to fund high returning investment opportunities.”
