NEW YORK (Reuters) - The private equity owner of Good Sportsman Marketing Outdoors is exploring a sale of the hunting and fishing gear maker that could value it at about $1.5 billion, including debt, according to people familiar with the matter.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. mortgage rates fell this week for the first time in more than a month amid signs of slowing economic activity, but remain too high to provide a significant boost to the housing market.

HOUSTON (Reuters) -Oil refiner Citgo Petroleum on Thursday reported its first quarter net fell 56% to $410 million, from $937 million in the same period a year ago.
The Venezuela owned company said it throughput rose to 830,000 barrels per day, the third highest in its history, up from 814,000 bpd in the year-ago quarter.

(Reuters) - Italian tyre-maker Pirelli said on Thursday its adjusted operating profit rose 5.8% in the first quarter of the year, as the group benefited from efficiencies.
The company, the sole supplier of tyres for Formula One cars, said adjusted earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) came in at 262.2 million euros ($282.36 million) in the January-March period, topping a 257 million euro analyst consensus provided by the company.
