JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) said on Thursday that listed companies will be required to report dividends on a per share basis, rather than the overall distribution amount, the latest step by the Israeli bourse to align itself with global markets.
The measure, which still requires approval from the Israel Securities Authority and finance minister, would go into effect on Feb. 1, 2025.

BENGALURU (Reuters) - India's No.4 IT services firm Wipro paid $20.1 million in annual compensation to former CEO Thierry Delaporte who resigned in April, well before his five-year term was set to end in July 2025.

BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese electronics maker Xiaomi posted a bigger-than-expected 27% rise in first-quarter revenue on Thursday, boosted by strong sales of handsets amid a recovery in the smartphone market.
For the first three months of this year, Xiaomi's revenue was 75.5 billion yuan ($10.42 billion), compared with the 73.3 billion yuan estimated by analysts according to LSEG.

BUDAPEST (Reuters) - The International Criminal Court prosecutor's request for an arrest warrant against Israel's prime minister is "unacceptable" and could not be enforced in Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orban's chief of staff said on Thursday.
