Shark experts investigate attack on swimmer near San Diego Jun 3, 2024 06:00PM

(Reuters) - Experts are investigating a shark bite of a swimmer near San Diego, seeking to determine the species and uncover any clues to explain the rare event, a leading shark researcher said on Monday.

Europeans submit draft resolution on Iran to IAEA board Jun 3, 2024 05:59PM

VIENNA (Reuters) - Britain, France and Germany have submitted a wide-ranging draft resolution against Iran to the U.N. nuclear watchdog's 35-nation Board of Governors for it to be voted on later this week, the text seen by Reuters showed on Monday.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Georgia appeals court will hear arguments in October on whether to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting Donald Trump for trying to overturn his 2020 defeat, a schedule that will likely postpone that trial until after the Nov. 5 election.

San Francisco police detain protesters at Israeli consulate Jun 3, 2024 05:52PM

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - San Francisco police detained a group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators who entered the lobby of the building housing the Israeli consulate after they refused to leave, authorities said on Monday.

An unspecified number of people were "detained for potential arrest," police said in a statement. "Officers have been making multiple warnings to the individuals to disperse and exit the private property on their own."
