NEW YORK (Reuters) - Families of the Sandy Hook massacre victims claimed victory in Alex Jones' bankruptcy case on Friday, accepting the conspiracy theorist's proposal to sell his assets, including InfoWars, to partly pay legal judgments to them for his lies about the 2012 U.S. school shooting.

BEIRUT (Reuters) - The conflict between Hezbollah and Israel is unfolding against a backdrop of deep financial and political crises in Lebanon, adding to the risks for the fragile country should hostilities spiral into full-blown war.
The Iran-backed Hezbollah and Israel have been trading fire since the onset of the Gaza war in October. Both sides say they are prepared for possible escalation as mediators struggle to secure a Gaza ceasefire.

(Reuters) - Paramount Global controlling shareholder Shari Redstone received the fewest votes among other directors in the company's board election, a filing on Friday showed.
Redstone received 32.2 million votes for her election to the board, the lowest out of the six candidates, while also getting the most votes against her election at more than 905,000.
