BRASILIA, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Brazil's ⁠central bank chief, ⁠Gabriel ‍Galipolo, said policy "calibration" was the key on Monday, stressing a data-dependent stance at this stage of the monetary policy cycle after ‍policymakers signaled they were likely to begin easing in March.

Galipolo ​said it must be acknowledged that the inflation outlook had improved.

Workday names co-founder Aneel Bhusri as CEO Feb 9, 2026 08:42AM

Feb ⁠9 (Reuters) - Workday ⁠said ‍on Monday co-founder ‍Aneel Bhusri will ​return as the ​company's CEO and Carl Eschenbach will step down ​from the role, effective ​immediately.

Shares of the company ‌fell more than 5% in premarket ​trading.

The move ⁠comes as the human ‌resources software provider looks to ‌leverage artificial intelligence to ‌stand out amid strong competition from rivals ‍looking to grow market ⁠share.

Nio recalls record 246,229 cars over software problem Feb 9, 2026 08:33AM

BEIJING, Feb 9 (Reuters) - ⁠China's Nio ⁠is ‍recalling 246,229 vehicles due to a software issue that poses safety hazards, marking ‍the largest recall by a homegrown electric ​vehicle maker.

CAIRO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Israeli forces ⁠killed four militants ⁠in ‍Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip on Monday after they emerged from an underground tunnel and opened fire on troops, Israel's military ‍said.

It described the attack on Israeli troops as a violation of ​the U.S.-brokered ceasefire with the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas that went into force in Gaza last ​October and said it views it with the "utmost gravity."
