WOODSTOCK, Virginia (Reuters) - The education board for Shenandoah County, Virginia, voted early on Friday to restore Confederate generals' names to two public schools in the predominantly white, rural and solidly Republican district, becoming the first in the U.S. to take such an action.

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Euro zone inflation is on track to ease back to 2% next year so European Central Bank policymakers concluded last month they will likely be in a position to cut interest rates in June, the account of their April meeting showed.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia has no plans to restrict the work of foreign companies in its market, despite Western sanctions against Moscow, Mikhail Mishustin, President Vladimir Putin's nominee for prime minister, said on Friday.
Mishustin also told Russia's lower house of parliament that the government planned no restrictions on the businesses of Russian companies do abroad, as he presented his programme before a vote on his appointment.
