(Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Reserve would be able to cut its benchmark interest rate once this year, Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker said on Monday, if his economic forecast plays out.

(Reuters) - A man accused of acting as a lookout while two fellow inmates at a federal prison killed the notorious Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger in his cell in 2018 was set to be released from custody after a judge on Monday sentenced him to time served.

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canada does not think the time is right to send military trainers back to Ukraine, given hesitation among NATO allies about such a step, Defence Minister Bill Blair said on Monday.
Blair spoke to reporters after attending a NATO summit which agreed the alliance would assume a greater role in coordinating arms supplies to Ukraine.
