(Reuters) - Cloud-based cybersecurity startup Netskope has crossed more than $500 million in annual recurring revenue and will focus on becoming profitable with no immediate plan to go public this year, its CEO told Reuters.
Chief Executive Sanjay Beri said the company has been making internal preparations for an initial public offering (IPO) but there was no rush in an election year.

(Reuters) - Tesla on Monday defended a proposal to ratify CEO Elon Musk's $56 billion pay package and said a new compensation would be costlier, days after a top proxy advisory firm recommended shareholders to vote against the proposal.
The electric-vehicle maker argued that his pay package - one of the biggest in corporate America - motivated Musk to create "tremendous value" for shareholders.

(Reuters) -Spirit Airlines finance chief Scott Haralson is leaving the airline to join car rental company Hertz Global Holdings as its chief financial officer, the companies said in separate statements on Monday.
Spirit named Brian McMenamy as its interim CFO effective June 14, while it searches for a permanent replacement.
Haralson will join Hertz the end of June and will succeed Alexandra Brooks.

ROME (Reuters) - A Dutch tourist has defaced a frescoed wall in an ancient Roman house in Herculaneum, near Naples, damaging a building that survived the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, Italian police said on Monday.
The police statement said the 27-year-old tourist was swiftly identified after staff at the archaeological site discovered tagged graffiti writing made with a black, indelible marker pen on a white section of a painted wall.
