WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The US Commerce Department said on Thursday it plans to grant $75 million to Absolics for constructing a 120,000-square-foot facility in Georgia that will supply advanced materials to the country's semiconductor industry.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran's late President Ebrahim Raisi is set to be buried in the holy city of Mashhad on Thursday, four days after he was killed in a helicopter crash along with foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and six other people.

KYIV (Reuters) - A Russian attack on Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv killed two people and injured at least seven, local authorities said on Thursday.
The attack damaged transport and municipal infrastructure as well as a printing business, causing a fire, the mayor of Kharkiv and the region's governor said.

BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany's long-awaited economic recovery is not materialising and the euro zone's largest economy will only stagnate this year, the German chambers of commerce and industry (DIHK) said on Thursday.
Nevertheless, the forecast was more optimistic than at the start of the year, when the DIHK expected a 0.5% contraction.

LONDON (Reuters) - China plans to buy up to 15,000 metric tons of cobalt metal from local Chinese producers over the next few months for domestic stockpiles, three sources familiar with the matter told Reuters, adding that it would be a record amount for a single purchase.
