BEIJING (Reuters) - Didi Global fell to a first-quarter net loss of 1.4 billion yuan ($193 million), China's largest ride-hailing company reported on Wednesday.
Revenue increased by 14.9% to 49.1 billion yuan, it said.

BERLIN (Reuters) - Inflation in three German states inched up in May, preliminary data showed, suggesting that national inflation in Europe's biggest economy may rise slightly, although price growth did decline in one state.
Economists will pay close attention to the national data later on Wednesday, as Germany publishes its figures before a euro zone inflation data release expected on Friday.

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - China's Geely Holding Group on Wednesday said it would launch a series of hybrid models in the first half of next year equipped with its next-generation, more fuel-efficient engine.
Geely's engine achieves a thermal efficiency of up to 46.1%, according to a product certificate issued by the government-owned CATARC Huacheng Certification Co.

BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese company Galactic Energy successfully launched its Ceres-1 rocket carrying satellites into orbit on Wednesday, state media reported, in the latest sign of the growing strength of China's commercial space sector.
The Beijing-based company was forced to apologise to its customers last September after a failed launch of a Ceres-1 rocket, which is capable of delivering a 300kg payload to a 500km sun-synchronous orbit.
