(Reuters) - U.S. oil giant Exxon said on Wednesday proxy advisor Glass Lewis should recuse itself from making recommendations on its upcoming shareholder meeting due to "conflicts of interest."
The company said Glass Lewis is a member of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), which "has led the media opposition to ExxonMobil's decision to seek declaratory relief in court" related to a lawsuit.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said on Wednesday that her department plans to issue proposed rules on Chinese connected vehicles this fall, citing national security risks to Americans' data.

(Reuters) - Netflix said on Wednesday its ad-supported tier has reached 40 million global monthly active users, from 5 million a year earlier, a sign that its push to attract new users with the cheaper plan is paying off.
The jump comes at a time when streaming companies are facing stiff competition and introducing bundles with their rivals to retain subscribers.

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Tyson Foods cannot predict exactly when U.S. ranchers will start rebuilding the cattle herd in a meaningful way, CEO Donnie King said on Wednesday, as tight supplies squeeze the meatpacker's beef business.
Producers slashed the herd to its lowest level in decades due to high feed costs and drought in the western United States, increasing the prices Tyson must pay to buy livestock for processing.
