(Reuters) - An overnight drone attack launched from Ukraine sparked a brief fire at an oil refinery in the Volgograd region in southern Russia, the region's governor said on Sunday.
"The fire was extinguished. There were no casualties,” Andrey Bocharov, the governor, said on the local administration's Telegram messaging channel.

BEIJING (Reuters) - Industrial and Commercial Bank of China said it would issue 30 billion yuan ($4.15 billion) worth of total loss-absorbing capacity (TLAC) bonds on May 15, marking the first issuance of such bonds by a Chinese bank.

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers said on Sunday he expected this week's federal budget would help ease the country's stubbornly high inflation, as many Australians continue to grapple with cost-of-living pressures.
"We do expect the budget, as I said, to put downward pressure on inflation rather than upward pressure on inflation," Chalmers said in an Australian Broadcasting Corp television interview aired on Sunday.
