Twitter's (NYSE: TWTR) move into e-commerce could be coming sooner rather than later.
According to TheNextWeb, a section of Twitter's mobile app for Android is called Payment & Shipping, though the section is currently not selectable.
News follows recent reports which had several Twitter users see a 'Buy Now' button next to certain items, with links directed to Fancy.com.
It wasn't made clear how well the trial went or what the time frame for Twitter to debut a shopping option would be, if at all. We suspect it might happen sometime in September or October, leading into the 2014 holiday shopping season.
