Tesla (TSLA) Model X Reservation Rate Picks Up in July

As Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) nears the launch of its Model X, reservations for the vehicle appear to be picking up.
According to TeslaMotorsClub, its estimated by 29,465 reservations have been made for the Model X, or 25,182 net of cancellations.
The current rolling three-month average is 1,002 per month, which compares with the lifetime average of 706.8 per month. It's estimated that 1,224 reservations were made in July, or about 39.5 per day.
Photos of the Model X have been popping up on various blogs and websites, though its still estimated that sales of the vehicle won't begin until early 2016.
Notably, Tesla CEO Elon Musk mentioned last week that autosteer and parallel autopark software updates were just about ready to launch.
Shares of Tesla are down 0.7 percent.
