Tesla (TSLA) Begins Model X Deliveries in China Slightly Ahead of Schedule

Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) is said to have started deliveries of its Model X SUV in China, which comes just ahead of the end of the second quarter.
Electrek.co noted that the first Model X shipments recently cleared customs in China and the vehicles are now at delivery centers.
Tesla had been guiding for Model X deliveries to start before the end of the current quarter.
News comes as Model X deliveries in Europe and Canada also recently started.
Tesla's delivery goal for the quarter is 17,000 vehicles.
Shares of Tesla are down modestly.
