January 30, 2013 7:13 PM EST Send to a Friend
After having its latest Super Bowl ad "Game Changer" rejected last week by CBS, SodaStream (NASDAQ: SODA) will be airing a revised version of "SodaStream Effect" for the big game. An earlier version of this ad was rejected in the U.K..

The rejected ad, which takes direct aim at "Big Soda" makers Coke (NYSE: KO) and Pepsi (NYSE: PEP), will air nationally on NBC and other networks beginning next week.

Both ads were created by Alex Bogusky, who has a history with "Big Soda," having launched Coke Zero in the U.S. at his agency.

The Super Bowl ad has been an important catalyst for the stock. In fact, shares of SoadStream are up 23 percent since announcing it will air its first ever ad for the Big Game on December 4, 2012.
