Pandora (NYSE: P) shares are notably higher following an earlier WSJ report that the company may begin to let users listen to whatever they want.
The report notes that Pandora is close to deals with major record companies which would allow the company to offer on-demand music streaming. Agreements still haven't been finalized, sources said.
Pandora plans to roll out the new plans in the U.S. first and expand to other English-speaking countries thereafter.
Shares of Pandora are up over 3 percent.
