Palm (PALM) Changes Tune On CFO's CPA Credentials

According to Barron's Tech Trader blog, Palm (Nasdaq: PALM) CFO Douglas C. Jeffries is not a registered CPA, contrary to previous public statements.

Jeffries was a CPA years ago, but no longer holds the designation. The company changed the wording on its website on Tuesday following a query on the issue this week from Tech Trader Daily. The old bio stated "Douglas is a CPA" and the new wording states "Douglas was formerly a CPA."
