Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) traders evidently don't know what to make of what Microsoft just did.
Monday, Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) unveiled a new line of tablet PCs, basically gunning for Apple's iPad in the process. Though specs were limited, the base tablet will have a keyboard cover, be thinner, and have a larger display than the current iPad. The question still remains of the environment and OS Microsoft will provide for its new undertaking and whether that will be strong enough to gain tablet market share.
Though Apple is up currently, the stock has shifted between positive and negative territory.
