LDK Solar (LDK) Powers Up on Newsletter Recommendation
Shares of LDK Solar Co.Ltd. (NYSE: LDK) are surging higher today related to a recommendation by ChangeWave Investing's Tobin Smith. Smith said buy LDK under $35. He called the company the "the MEMC Electronic Materials (WFR) of China"
LDK has surged 18% on the recommendation. LDK has been a controversial name due to accounting worries.
Smith also was positive on SiRF Technology Holdings (Nasdaq: SIRF), saying buy under $27.50 and Ascent Solar (Nasdaq: ASTI), saying buy under $20.
