Is An Apple (AAPL) iPhone Nano On The Way?

MacRumors and AppleInsider are hinting that Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) may be launching an iPhone Nano at the annual MacWorld show. Two well-known case makers have updated their web catalogs to include protective cases for an Apple developed iPhone Nano in the near future.

On one of the sites, customers are taken to a page where they can sign up for iPhone nano cases. The site says, "Sign up for the upcoming release of our iPhone nano cases."

The Apple rumors sites point out that Apple is unlikely to inform these case makers of advanced product information, but they still may be able to obtain product specifications through other unconventional means.

On another note, marketers in Taiwan are already selling knock-off devices that may look similar to what the supposed Apple iPhone nano may look like.
