Hankering to sport Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) latest and greatest: Google Glasses? You may not have to wait too much longer and the device might be surprisingly cheap.
According to The Verge, Google might start selling the augmented reality device before the end of the year, with a price tag starting under $1,500 apiece.
Developers at Google I/O were able to pre-order devices last June for about $1,500. The Verge also had a reporter use the device last weekend, which should provide for an interesting prospective on something that most of us have only seen on Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
Our guess is that more Google Glass reviews will begin popping up sometime in Q213, closer to when Google might unleash the device.
Shares of Google are up modestly.
