According to reports from Bloomberg, Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) will give employees Android-powered mobile phones as a holiday gift this year instead of cash.
Last year, Google handed out $1000 cash gifts to employees, but this year about 85% of the employees will get the Android-powered handsets, according to a person familiar with the matter.
