Former Vice President and Nobel Laureate Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr., spilled the beans on a new iPhone launch next month.
Speaking at the Discovery Invest Leadership Summit in South Africa, Gore was quoted as saying, "Not to mention the new iPhone's coming out next month. That was a plug."
Right, Al. Because Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhones need a plug...
As we all know, Al is a member of the Board at Apple. The significance here: this is the first time anyone officially attached to the company has alluded to a new iPhone since speculation began about 0.5 nanoseconds after the iPhone 4 debut (not 'release,' mind you, rather, the first time Apple acknowledged the iPhone 4).
So there you go... new iPhones are coming. Al wouldn't lie, would he?
