(Reuters) -The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating statements made by Boeing Co. about its safety practices after a mid-air panel blowout on a 737 MAX flight in January, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday.
The SEC will examine whether the planemaker or its executives misled investors in violation of the Wall Street regulator's rules, the report said, citing three people familiar with the development.

(Reuters) -Tesla has been accused by a U.S. labor agency of discouraging workers at a Buffalo, New York, assembly plant from union organizing by barring them from using phones and other devices, an agency spokeswoman said on Thursday.

(Reuters) - Ford Motor is considering offering gas-powered vehicles and hybrids beyond 2030 in Europe, a change from its initial plan for an all-electric lineup in the region, the Detroit automaker said on Thursday.
The company had in 2021 outlined plans for an all electric lineup for Europe by the end of the decade.

(Reuters) -BP's electric charging unit is keen on expanding in the United States after electric vehicle maker Tesla disbanded its EV charging team, the oil company said on Thursday.
The development comes days after Tesla CEO Elon Musk abruptly laid off employees who ran the EV charging business, but said the automaker still plans to expand the Supercharger network, but at a slower pace for new locations.
