Origin Agritech (SEED) Sees Continued Upside

After last week's double in its share price, Origin Agritech Limited (Nasdaq: SEED) continues to see interest today. Shares are up 9%�on heavy volume.
On November 23rd, Origin Agritech announced it has received the Bio-safety Certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture in China as a final approval for commercial approval of the world's first genetically modified phytase corn. This news sent investors flocking into the stock.
Following the surge, research firm Citron Research issued a negative report on the company calling the announcement "old news", but the report has done little so far to slow down the shares.
