Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) is up over 9 percent on the session, off of session highs, but producing its best showing since its IPO on May 18th.
The rise comes following six straight sessions of down days, of which five came following the social media giant's first quarterly report since going public. Facebook has been lower 16 of the past 18 sessions.
Today's move might be partially attributed to LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD), which reported strong second-quarter results late Thursday.
