Loeb's Third Point Hedge Fund Gets Out of Citigroup (C), Shows New Stakes in CBS (CBS) and eBay (EBAY) Among Others

Dan Loeb's Third Point LLC hedge fund released its 13F for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

The firm held $2.3 billion in securities at the end of the quarter, up from the $1.9 billion in securities held at the end of Q4 2010. It should be noted that cash, short positions and various other securities are not required to be disclosed in the 13F filing.

Notably, Loeb showed new stakes in CBS (NYSE: CBS), eBay, Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY), El Paso Corp. (NYSE: EP) and Sara Lee Corp. (NYSE: SLE), among others. He also liquidated his Citigroup (NYSE: C), Comcast Class A (NASDAQ: CMCSA) and Yahoo, Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO).
