at 04:02 PM Sharing the For Jim Kramer to say that drastic discounts at retail hurt only the retailer "not the actual apparel maker" is an astounding assumption. I guess Kramer's never heard of a thing called "markdown money" . . . monies that apparel makers are getting so sick of paying that many have decided to fold up shop altogether (rather than continuing to subsidize their retail "partners'" bottom lines).
