at 08:06 PM Strong balance sheet? Roel Thanks for the info. I do not buy all of it but you do seem to have done your homework. I want to believe we may not know everything about Palm's strategy for their future. I appreciate your comments.

at 06:44 PM Strong balance Sheet? Tim, PalmOS is great, but Merrill Lynch mentioned that Palm has a "strong balance sheet" and that they find the stock "compelling". That is misleading. Please take a look at the financials. The company is bankrupt and the cash they have, they owe all short term (quick ratio of 0.6). To find a stock compelling, an analyst has to disclose sales figures. They don“t. Palm cant be making any profits the way the situation is. Look at Sprint sales, look at the prices the Pres and Pixis are being sold at. I just think the stock is being played and you and many others may be the next victims. You may be right and Palm has a great OS, but play it safe. Look carefully at the financials. You can find the link here: (http://www.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ:PALM). Those ARE compelling. If you look close enough you will see that there is considerable risk of Chapter 11. You decide.

at 05:03 PM Strong balance sheet? Why not. It is a better OS. Why do you say market manipulation, because this is not about you ifruit and it is positive. Fanboys just can not get over the fact there is compition out there and phones that do stuff the ifruit can not do. Oh, but you do have your apps, LOL

at 11:07 AM Strong balance sheet? Really? No sales figures? Strong balance sheet? Unbelievable!! How is a bigger distribution channel going to help phones that are not selling at all? Somebody has to sue Merrill Lynch sooner or later. This is market manipulation.

at 05:55 PM A good OS is not enough This stock really is up on speculation that there could be an acquisition by someone like Nokia or Dell. I was a fan at $12, but at current prices is a much too high valuation. The problem as I see it is that Nokia will not buy them because it wouldn't fit into their roadmap. And yesterday Dell announced that they were full steam on Android. So, these guys have to make a lot of cash on apps, otherwise game over. Carl
