National City Bank deal with PNC Why didn't the management of NCB lobby the Ohio congressional delegation to intervene with the US Treasury in their behalf? No, they accepted their exclusion from TARP and cut a deal with PNC that is adverse to the shareholders, the employees, customers, and the NE Ohio communicty. Leading up to the "deal" with PNC we shareholder were reassurred by managment that the bank was well capitalized, and had the liquidity to sustain itself through the current economic malady. Either they were not honest with the shareholders or inadequate managers of the trust they received. I suspect a large measure of each!

NCC Bank deal Something stinks about the whole deal. The takeover price fell from 7.50 to 2 plus cents. Sounds like the banks directors were bought out by the 40 million golden parachutes. The stock holders should have something to say about it. Voice your objections loudly. Ray.
