dividends So what's the point in bothering to invest anymore? These companies are cutting their own throats. And GE chairman Immelt ought to be investigated. Trying to prop up his stock by essentially lying a month ago that the dividends would not be cut. Who is he kidding? GE is not in desperate financial straits like GM. They are still making money. So when the company shows a profit this later this year... on the backs of its investors who lost their dividend money... this bum is going to take a "bonus." Absolutely criminal. A jail cell would be too nice a place for him.
