MANIPULATION: This is the typical market manipulation, Down grade to buy and up Grade to sell. Who ask City for they oppinion, i dont and you.

Citi who? Who is Citi to give any worthwhile ratings? I am a little upset I went with IRE before RBS, but I at least sold my CITI while it was still in the black. IRE will come back before 2010.

Banks Citi are rock bottom themselves. Until they actually perform well in the market can they be assumed to make accurate predictions. Both of these Irish banks will start to increase far sooner than these predictions. A merger is still possible but not likely.
