at 09:31 AM Typical Shortsighted Move Buells are the most exciting bikes on the market today. Your inept dealers let them down. They did not want or no how to sell them.

at 08:31 AM Thanks I was in the market for a cruiser to supplement my Buell It was going to be a Road KIng It now will be a Victory or a Triumph. I guarantee you no one in my family (5 riders) will EVER buy a HD motorcycle again. You have betrayed us for the last time.

at 12:02 AM Huh? So Buell brings Harley-Davidson an AMA Championship, raises their profile 1000% within the sportbike community, and is summarily KILLED? You H-D geniuses will enjoy your long, slow slide toward irrelevance as you run out of middle-aged orthodontists and ex-cons who want to buy your stagnant product line. Buell was the best thing you had going!

at 11:41 PM Good job shooting...yourself in the foot You know your customer demographic is shrinking. You know you need the 35 & under crowd to buy your products. You just killed the only brand that gave a fighter's chance of capturing that demographic and gaining market share. You might weather this financial storm with these actions, but I'm not so sure you'll grow. You've pretty much guaranteed that current Buell owners won't buy an HD product, but will buy from your competitors if for no other reason than spite. 125,000+ A company that was actually making money, targeting the demographic you NEED to continue growing, won the AMA/DMG DSB championship and was poised for even more success. And you closed them down and won't sell to give them a chance because they are "too tightly integrated..." I hope you enjoy the next 20 years, if you last that long, because HD officially shot themselves and will guaranty a slow lingering death from here on out. Good job guys.
